The project seeks to deliver a single block internal and external refurbishment of Whangamata Area School's Te Piringa space. The goal is to improve the quality, functionality, and comfort of teaching spaces through upgrades including cladding, roofing, wall linings, flooring, joinery, and reorientation of the entrance with a new deck and canopy to be more connected to the surrounding buildings. These works will enhance performance, modernise finishes, and support flexible learning environments that align with current educational needs and Ministry of Education property standards.
