Overview

Raumati Beach School’s Ten Year Property Plan has identified a number of roofing improvements to various buildings across the school which includes roof coverings, flashings and spouting renewal.

Non trafficable roof sheets are also to be removed and replaced with appropriate trafficable and heavy duty translucent roof product. In some areas timber cladding will require removal and reinstatement to allow the installation of new apron flashings.

Additional carpentry work includes the localised replacement of external cladding on Block 9, the replacement of decayed barge board timber battens on Block M1 and the replacement and repair of timber sills and window frames on Blocks 1 and 2.

A skylight in Block 2 is deemed to be non trafficable and requires removal and replacement with a trafficable alternative. The existing roof mounted heat pumps on Block 2 are to be removed and relocated to the ground, heavy duty steel protective cages will be required.
