Huntly College intends to proceed with roofing replacements and repairs in accordance with the MoE’s Roofing Observer Report. In addition, areas of asbestos cladding with bubbling paint have been identified across the site. The design for recladding these affected elevations is attached, and consent has already been lodged.
The project also includes replacement of the existing gym ceiling, with the current ceiling to be removed and replaced as outlined in the scope of works document.
A asbestos report will be provided prior to works commencing.
The works are scheduled for the December/January holiday period. If the full scope cannot be completed within this timeframe, alternative programming will be arranged with the successful tenderer for completion during the Term 1 school holidays. Final staging will be confirmed in consultation with the successful tenderer.
