This project aims to develop of a series of standard building designs for Kaupapa Māori Education (KME) in conjunction with the existing standardised design work that is currently being undertaken by the Ministry and its suppliers.

The outcome for this project is the development of at least six KME specific building typologies, and a coordinated set of classroom layouts that can be used in projects going forward. Future phases will further refine and develop the detail of our standard designs.
