We are seeking experienced water assessors to support the Safer Drinking Water for Schools Programme. This programme covers all state schools across New Zealand that supply their own drinking water.
We specifically require the following services:
• Document and assess the condition of the current water supply system and its key components, using the Ministry’s supplied reporting templates (DWAR).
• Prepare a preliminary design for a recommended solution that meets compliance standards, using the Ministry’s supplied reporting templates (DWAR).
• Identify urgent quick fixes to improve the safety and sufficiency of the drinking water supply, using the Ministry’s supplied reporting templates (DWAR).
• Complete a Drinking Water Safety Plan (DWSP) for the current water supply system, using the Ministry’s reporting template.

Additional services:
Where required, successful water assessors may also be asked to review Drinking Water Assessment Reports and Drinking Water Safety Plans produced by others to ensure consistency.
