Registrations of Interest are sort for Building Main-Contractors to price the refurbishment works of a 5YA Blocks 3,7,13 - AMS : ILE/DQLS project at Ramarama School, Auckland.
The existing interior finishing materials have reached the end of their lifecycle and become old and require replacement with new finishes, including the introduction of usable and upgraded spaces.
This project will require site visits for tendering only and the appropriate inspections to determine the supply and installation of the required materials.
Design documentation and scope of works will be provided.
All documentation will be prepared by a representative consultant, to NZ Safety Codes and MoE standards.
All procedures to comply with MoE property legislation.
Nature of Works consists of :
• Block 3,7 Interior :
ILE works to remove the existing unfit for purpose breakout space in Room Kakapo of Blocks 3and7.
Works to involve:-
Removal and demolition of the existing breakout space.
-Makegood to all floor, wall and ceiling junctions.
-Supply and installation of new DQLS items as needed following removal of the breakout space (e.g. carpet, lights, wallcoverings etc.)
• Block 13 Interior :
DQLS works to include carpet, lights and ILE works to create withdrawal and secondary spaces in the existing underutilised cloak bay spaces.
Also replace cabinetry and enhancing existing classroom connections.
This part of the project is P3 and uses the schools AMS fund.
DQLS works:
-Remove and dispose of existing carpet.
-Supply and installation of new 16oz direct stick carpet tiles. Works to include all floor preparation as required.
-Remove and dispose of the existing fluorescent lights. Supply and install new LED baton units. Make good to areas as required.
ILE works:
-Engage with an architect and engineer to scope out the works and confirm the integrity of the walls.
-Remove and dispose of the walls as required.
-Supply and installation of new aluminium commercial grade sliding doors (min40mm).
Cabinetry works:
-Remove and dispose of existing cabinetry.
-Supply and install new cabinetry.
-Make good to areas as required.
