The school is looking to create a flexible indoor-outdoor teaching space for the Pukeko Room by adding a new deck with outdoor carpet, seamlessly connecting it to the existing front deck. The up-grade will include new steps and a balustrade for safety, along with a clear roof to provide shelter. A new door opening with a sliding door from Room 3 will enable direct access to the new deck. Two rows of bag hooks will create dedicated storage for Pukeko students. These improvements will streamline movement between indoor and outdoor spaces.
