The opportunity is for various roof works across the school site including roof replacement or partial/ sectional replacements. In the main, full or sectional replacements are on a 'like for like' basis. Replacement of clearllite translucent sheeting with trafficable clearlite; replacement flashings including some more complex powder coated aluminium welded flashings. There will be some building works associated with the roofing works including possible purlin replacement, timber fascia repairs, timber gutter sectional replacement where gutter form work has decayed; temporary relocation of Heat pump during roofing work and some permanent relocation of heat pumps to ground . Given the predominance of roofing work, it is the Principal's preference that a competent and experienced roofing contractor would be the 'main contractor' and a building contractor sub-contract to the roofer.
