Christchurch Girls High School is currently undertaking a major rebuild project as part of the Christchurch Schools Rebuild Program.

In preparation for construction works to commence on the west end of the site, the existing prefab Block E (R1/R2/R3) and the Garage (Van Storage) which currently houses the school minivans, must be demolished. Both Block E and the Garage are located immediately west of the Arts Block.
