Nature of the Works:
1. Requirement to identify all gulley traps, cess pits and manholes, (stormwater & wastewater) within the college and confirm invert levels, pipe size and flow direction, to all council known and unknown manholes. Undertake a CCTV inspection of all site drainage and identify any concerns in regard to blockages, fall concerns or pipe size issues.
2. Confirm from the above the solution proposed to ensure stormwater collected within C block roof area is contained in suitable retention tanks with the court yard and that clear flow is ensured to avoid flooding deemed possible within a 1- and 200-year flooding event (as per weather event in Auckland January 2023) map of C Block provides a possible indication of new piping required.
(Please note that a recent re-roof project in C Block confirmed that the concrete floor base is 400mm thick, also that existing falls are less than the desired fall)
