Invitation to Tender from contractors shortlisted through an earlier ROI process.

The Avondale College Performing Arts Centre (PAC) which includes the school's Auditorium, plus the Music and Drama faculties is to undergo substantial weather-tightness remediation works.
Work includes replacement of significant portions of existing roofing and cladding with associated remediation of affected timber framing and interior linings.
Some seismic strengthening works is required to the Auditorium.
As part of this project an extension to the footprint of the main Auditorium foyer is to be added along with a new roof section and exterior walls to the area.
The existing heating and ventilation systems will be upgraded and a new automatic fire sprinkler system is to be installed.
The project will be carried out in stages (at least 2) and careful consideration and planning will be required to minimise disruption to the school's teaching and learning programmes.
The School Board of Trustees is requesting tenders from the head construction contractors shortlisted through the earlier ROI process.

This tender has been awarded. Total spend value $ 7,112,000.
