Overview

Registrations of Interest are sort for Building Main-Contractors to price the supply and installation works of a 5YA Block 1 Lifecycle Interior Replacement & Alteration project at Beachlands School, Auckland.

The existing interior finishing materials have reached the end of their lifecycle and become old and require replacement with new finishes, including the introduction of usable and upgraded spaces.
This project will require site visits and the appropriate inspections to determine the supply and installation of the required materials.
Design documentation and scope of works will be provided.

All documentation will be prepared by an architect representative consultant, to NZ Safety Codes and MoE standards.
All procedures to comply with MoE property legislation.

History :

Lifecycle replacement of existing finishes.
Existing finishes have exceeded their lifespan and become old and worn.
Reconfigure sick bay layouts to comply with MoE standards.

Nature of the Works :
Admin., Library and Staff Toilets.
Life cycle replacement of approx. 311sqm floor coverings. Lifecycle replacement of toilet
fixtures and fittings in female staff toilets that don't provide provide adequate privacy for staff.
Reconfigure sickbay to accommodate roll growth requirements.
Remove existing Admin and Library Floor coverings, prep floors and lay new carpet tiles to
area, ensure all transition strips and the like are included in the scope of works.
Remove existing toilet fixtures and fittings. Supply and install: x WC's, x basins, 6 x time-flow
tapware, hot water, partitions, wall linings, lighting and 150mm coved commercial grade
vinyl.
Allow for mechanical ventilation. reconfigure sickbay to accommodate additional students
due to current roll.
