Overview
Outcome sought: to rectify acoustic issues and facilitate more efficient use of the space available in the Rakahuri teaching block.
History: the open plan areas have become acoustically unsatisfactory when filled with 60 students at a time.
Solution: creation of single cell teaching spaces that teachers and students will want to work in. Resolution of the location of the library. Creation of an entranceway at the eastern end of the building.
