Overview

The Contract Works are works identified within the MOE Henderson High School 10 Year Property Plan for 2021/2022 (10YPP21/22). The MOE Reference number is 45-22-02.

Block B building has poor condition window joinery, cladding and flashing that require repair and/or replacement. It is the intention to only replace the cladding that is badly damaged in association with the flashing replacement - not recladding the whole building.
(i) Window joinery to be repaired and repainted, including the replacement of any damaged or rotten timbers and sill flashings.
(ii) Remove and replace all corner flashing which will include the removal of adjacent cladding and underlying building wrap and if required, any damaged substructure. Repaint all replaced claddings to match existing.
(iii) Remove timber cover battens and replace and paint (west elevation only).
(iv) Repair and repaint damaged cladding and soffit.

The building exterior is strongly presumed to contain Asbestos-Containing Materials. The main contractor will be responsible for all asbestos-related works.
