Block 3: classrooms will include upgrading of the classrooms to meet DQSL standards of acoustics, ventilation, insulation, flooring, pinboard, lighting etc. Associated toilets/bag area will be upgraded along with 4 new unisex toilets.
Block 2: toilet bag bay areas will be upgraded to provide a shared space along with 4 new unisex toilets.
Roofing work comprises replacement of the Block 2 & 9 old clear panels and replacing with Webglass.
Electrical work comprises RCD protection to Blocks 1,2,3,7,9,10,11.
A preliminary asbestos survey identifying the likelihood of asbestos present will be provided. Contractors should demonstrate that they have relevant experience in the safe removal, and handling and disposal of asbestos.
