The purpose of this notice is to:
1. Notify suppliers of carpet tiles, underlay, and installation services of the Ministry’s market engagement related to Ngā Iti Kahurangi (NIK), formally the Improving Classrooms in Small or Remote Schools programme. This GETS notice will continue to be used as a forum of communication with subscribed suppliers’ interest in the supply and installation of carpet tiles and underlay of this programme. This will continue until such time as this is replaced by a tender process (Request for Proposal). Please note while the Ministry’s targeted engagement is with the suppliers and installers, the Ministry welcomes all feedback on the carpet tile category of this programme.
2. Provide the market with the current contractual structure and delivery model which can be used to generate feedback and discussion as to whether the current approach is suitable for this category of NIK.
3. Provide the market with the opportunity to feedback and discuss the product requirement and specification and explore potential alternative solutions.
Further information may be released as an addendum on GETS. This will form part of the NOI and if an alteration is made to the process detailed in this document, the addendum will supersede it.
4. Having read all the above information in detail, provide interested suppliers an opportunity to share feedback via a one-on-one engagement meeting.
