Overview
Nature of the Works : new building work to extend the hall by 3no x 5.0m wide structural bays, re construction of the roof of the school hall including re pitching the roof to minimum 3 degrees, new internal ceiling, new heat pumps, lighting, new interior doors, services, fire alarm system, new bleacher seating.
Extension to the school hall is proposed at 270 +/- sq metres
Project is for a single stage
Existing school hall sits in the centre of the school adjacent to the school entrance and vehicle turning space, the site for the construction contract is a the southern end of the hall in an area remote from the rest of the school which can be easily fenced with good contractors access.
