Expansion of the School Hall and associated internal works as shown in the attached concept drawings
• Nature of the Works will include some demolition and redevelopment and roofing replacement to the existing building to increase its size and capacity. There will also be some internal works to create offices as well as changes in the ablutions.
• The size of the project is considered medium additions.
• There are no requirements for phasing and/or staged handover of the project. Timelines and site access will be discussed and agreed between the school and Head Contractor so as to ensure there are no delays to the project timeline.
• The Hall site is to the front of the school with easy street access. The land is flat with sandy loom soils. The site can be shut off from the rest of the school and access to the work site is directly from the street which minimises any contact with students at the school or interference to the main teaching areas.
