Overview

The Ministry of Education (the Ministry) (the Buyer) is seeking a suitable Freight and Logistics (F&L) supplier who has the capacity and capability to store, manage and deliver a suite of four products to 626 small or isolated schools throughout mainland New Zealand from June 2021 until June 2024, with the option of extending the arrangement for up to a further 2 years.
The Ministry wants a provider who will work in a collaborative partnership manner with three project management suppliers (each one is responsible for delivering improvements at approximately 200 schools as part of its small or remote schools programme). We are currently in the market for these project managers.
To achieve this end the Ministry has released this ROI. It then intends to shortlist and issue a closed RFP to the shortlisted providers.
The RFP evaluation will be then be carried out by the Ministry and the preferred project management (PM) suppliers. The successful provider will be invited to a partnership workshop where all the parties can collaborate, finalise and agree the most effective approach to all aspects of delivering product to schools. The signed contract will explicitly reflect this agreement.
