The school BOT are seeking Registration for interest in completing the works. The intention is to send the full tender documents out the second week of September 2020 and the works to start end of October 2020
The Contract Works required are:
a. Block 1 DQLS and ILE upgrade to classrooms 6-7-8 Replace the carpet and vinyl, pinboard, ceilings, lighting and exterior doors of classrooms 6-8 and alter the internal layout by removing walls and installing sliding doors, Replace the vinyl floor, wall linings, sanitary fittings and toilet partitions in the toilet between rooms 7&8. Replace external doors at front of classrooms
• Block 2 – Alter the internal layout of the 2 toilet/bag bay areas to provide breakout spaces and to replace the toilet facilities and refurbish with new fixtures and fittings as well as replace floor coverings, wall coverings and frosted glass where necessary. Also to build a new canapoy roof on the north side of the building.
• The project is a medium sized contract which will need to be planned in stages so as to meet the schools operational requirements.
• The requirements for phasing and/or staged handover of the project will be negotiated in the planning stages
