Overview
Block 10 at Birkenhead Primary School was built circa 1990’s and so is now in need of ILE upgrades to bring it in line with current MoE standards. Works to block 10 include but are not limited to the following:
o Demolition including opening of internal & external walls to allow for new door &
window installations
o Installation of new doors & windows
o Repairs and works to external deck including new roofing to provide outdoor learning
environment
o Installation of new heat pumps
o Minor electrical & other interior works
In addition to the works in Block 10, carpet and vinyl within block 16 are to be replaced.
Carpet is to be installed to music room and vinyl to the entrance foyer.
