Oromahoe School is a small, rural school 70 minutes north of Whangarei. This Registration of Interest (ROI) is an invitation to suitably qualified contractors to submit a Tender for Main Contractor for enabling works for the construction of a bespoke classroom block, the construction of a bespoke classroom block, either design and build of a modular build or the build of a bespoke classroom block, and a drainage system replacement project. The expected outcome of this ROI is to provide the BOT with a panel of three main contractors. The projects will be split into 4 separate RFT bundles, (1) enabling works including demolition, shed construction and electrical works, (2) construction of the Blomfield Satellite School, (3) construction of 2 classrooms and a resource area, (4) sitewide drainage system replacement.
Works are scheduled to be undertaken during next year 2020, with the Blomfield Satellite School scheduled to be operational by September 2020.
