The Southland Boys' High School Board of Trustees is looking for an experienced contractor to carry out roof and wall cladding replacement works to various buildings at Southland Boys' High School.
Included in the works is the replacement of the main School building roof that is a Historic Places Category 2 listed building with an alternative tile system. Also included are (part) roof replacements to various school buildings including corrugated steel, butynol membrane and translucent sheeting, as well as minor carpentry work to enhance weather tightness features. The wall (part) cladding replacement requires cavity and re-clad with fibre cement cladding.
Working at Heights will be a critical factor with Site Safety considerations including site security fencing, scaffolding, edge protection and hoardings to maintain safe public access to school buildings.
The work scope will require building consent, with 112 gap analysis requiring fire and accessibility compliance upgrade work to also be included in the project scope.
