An Occupational Therapist Report has been received for a student with special needs enrolled at Ahipara School. The student has very high Ors needs secondary to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and communication needs with a history of escaping from school/ECE grounds including running and climbing behaviours. The student is not toilet trained. The student has episodes of faecal incontinence that require changing facilities. The only disabled bathroom in the school is not large enough to install a change table.
The desired outcome is to install a portable HD Bathroom for the student to utilise.
