Registrations are sought from Companies with a good track and Health and Safety record with no less than three years recent experience undertaking projects of a similar size/nature to the requirements. As part of the Schools 5 Year Property plan, the various ILE and Roofing Works are proposed.
BLOCK 13 ILE including 1 toilet block:
Work involves ILE DQLS improvements to the Whanau area and adjacent classroom and converting part of the associated toilet block to a withdrawal/remedial space.
It is proposed that work will include upgrading of the classrooms including provision of new, flooring, pinboard, lighting etc. along with associated Fire and Security work to be compatible with proposed upgrade of systems. New LED lighting will be installed to improve lighting levels. Upgrade remaining toilets including provision of warm water. Work includes replacement of urinals, pans, cisterns, plumbing, lighting, toilet partitions and wall linings etc.
Roofing + Flashings to Ancillary Blocks 3 & 7
Work involves replacing roof and flashings. Insulation to be installed where practicable and required if cavity allows upon removal of existing roofing.
There is an element of asbestos cladding present that will require an approved plan for removal, handling and disposal.

This tender has been awarded retrospectively.
