Registrations are sought from Companies with a good track and Health and Safety record with no less than three years recent experience undertaking projects of a similar size/nature to the requirements. As part of the Schools 5 Year Property plan, the Roofing and Fire Alarm Works are proposed. It is proposed that the works will be carried out as a single project while the School is operating, albeit disruptive or work affected by the removal, handling and disposal of existing asbestos must be carried out outside of school hours when pupils and staff are not present with the likely scenario that this would happen during weekend or a school holiday periods.

Repairs and replacement of metal roof, rubber membrane roof, gutters and flashings to Blks 1, 2, 3, 10 & Ancillary Block A. Install insulation where practicable.

Extend Fire Alarm system to Blocks 3, 7, 10+11:
Fire Alarm is extended to cover all buildings for evacuation and detection these being: Rooms 7-10 and at the same time the converted dental clinic Block 7 when the Block 3 Rooms 7 to 10 has the system extended to it plus Blocks 10+11 being classrooms 17,18,19 +20

There is an element of asbestos cladding present that will require an approved plan for removal, handling and disposal.
