Nature of the Works - demolition, new build, redevelopment including concreting, structural steel, structural/carpentry, aluminium external and internal; openings, joinery, suspended ceilings, plumbing and drainage, mechanical and electrical services, fire protection, painting/decorating, floor coverings and clear roofing.
Size/scale – 127 sqm of new canopy and 340 sqm of remodelling.
The Contractor will be engaged through a Major Works Works Contract. (Construction contracts for professional services and works).
Description of the site including conditions, known constraints – construction access and laydown is planned to be via adjacent publically owned land which is open to public access and is not secured.
Requirements for phasing and/or staged handover of the project – the whole project is to be handed over at one time.
Timeframes for the Contract Works are:
i. indicative Start date: 24/10/17;
ii. indicative Due Date for Completion: end of first term 2018.
