Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Taumarere is a composite school with 150 pupils based in Moerewa, Northland. The school consists of several newer blocks, including the main block built in 2009 along with some older school buildings dated as far back as the 1920’s and a number of relocatable classrooms. The relocatables were placed on site post fire vandalism as interim accommodation pending the new build. The school requires development of a new teaching block, gymnasium and some extensions (food technology and Wharenui) along with the rationalisation of some of the existing buildings.
