Overview
The photography department at Westlake Girls High School is moving towards a more modern teaching environment utilizing digital technology and the processing of photos using darkroom technology has now become redundant. The fume hood has recently been decommissioned and made good and the school now requires this existing processing room to be converted into a more usable studio space opening into the adjacent main teaching space. Works include the demolition of localised sections of existing walls and doors to make way for a new opening between the new studio space and existing photography classroom. Adjustment to localised services as associated builders works will be required.
