The Ministry of Education (the Ministry) is inviting registrations of interest from suitably qualified main contractors to make alterations to a technology classroom to create a new purpose built food technology classroom at Orewa College
The procurement is for alteration works to an existing building. Construction works as noted above including new wall, ceiling and floor finishes, plumbing, drainage, and electrical services. Supply delivery and installation of equipment will be the responsibility of Orewa College by way of a separate contract.
Existing adjacent classrooms and facilities need to be maintained as safe, functional and accessible during all times of the construction and and the provision of services and safe access in adjacent rooms will need to be maintained in November and December until school closes for the term break.
The Ministry is seeking information from suppliers interested in and capable of delivering against our requirements and will evaluate the information provided in Suppliers registrations to identify a shortlist of suppliers for a subsequent closed Request for Proposal process.
