1.1 The Ministry of Education (the Ministry) is inviting Registrations of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced Main Contractor level construction companies for a project which involves the weathertightness remediation of a science block at a school located in West Auckland.
1.2 The building is 2-3 stories high and comprises Concrete column and beams with concrete mid floors and light weight timber frame construction between. The walls are clad in a mix of horizontal profiled metal and flat fibre cement sheet. The roofs are covered with factory painted corrugated metal that discharge to external metal box gutters and PVC downpipes.
