Health New Zealand, Central Region (the principal) is seeking to procure the services of a Building Management System (BMS) Contractor to deliver the design and build of a new open-source BMS at Hutt, Wellington, Kenepuru and Wairarapa Hospitals (the Project).
The principal intends to procure the design and construction of Building Management System (BMS) upgrades across several Health New Zealand hospitals within the Central Region.
The procurement will be structured into the following Separable Portions:
Separable Portion 1: Hutt Hospital
Design and construction of the Hutt Hospital BMS upgrade, including all associated BMS software, licensing, integration, installation, testing and commissioning requirements, as detailed in the relevant Functional Description.
Separable Portion 2: Wellington and Kenepuru Hospitals
Design and construction of the BMS upgrades at Wellington Regional Hospital and Kenepuru Community Hospital, including all associated BMS software, licensing, integration, installation, testing and commissioning requirements, as detailed in the relevant Functional Description.
Separable Portion 3: Wairarapa Hospital
The scope and Functional Description for the Wairarapa Hospital BMS upgrade are still under development. It is anticipated that the scope will be similar in nature to Separable Portions 1 and 2.
Any future engagement for Wairarapa Hospital will be subject to:
• Finalisation of the Functional Description and scope;
• Confirmation of the project requirements, programme and deliverables;
• Business and funding approval;
• Satisfactory supplier performance;
• Confirmation of capacity and availability; and
• Agreement on pricing and commercial terms.
