Health New Zealand invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the delivery of the Parkside Steam Safety Valves Project at Parkside Hospital, Christchurch.
The project involves the replacement and upgrade of steam safety control infrastructure serving domestic hot water (DHW) calorifiers and low temperature hot water (LTHW) heat exchangers. The works include the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of new steam safety shut-off valve assemblies, associated pipework modifications, controls integration, electrical interfaces, asset information requirements, commissioning and handover documentation.
The Works are to be undertaken within an operational healthcare environment. The successful contractor will be responsible for all labour, supervision, plant, materials, equipment and specialist resources necessary to complete the Works in accordance with the Contract Documents.
The procurement is being undertaken as an Open Request for Tender (RFT) through GETS. The contract will be the Health New Zealand Medium Works Contract and will be delivered as a lump sum contract based on the completed design documentation prepared by Mike Yates Design & Drafting Limited.

Programme & Resourcing – 10%
Health & Safety – 10%
