This procurement is for the replacement of the ageing central heating plant at
Wakari Hospital (371 Taieri Road Dunedin 9010) with a complete, safe, compliant and operational heating and
domestic hot water system. The successful supplier will be responsible for the
investigation, design, supply, installation, integration, testing, commissioning,
training and handover of a reliable and efficient replacement system that
maintains essential services within a live healthcare environment.

This is an opportunity to deliver a critical infrastructure upgrade for a live
healthcare campus, replacing ageing boiler plant with a reliable, efficient and
lower-emissions heating and domestic hot water system. The project is suited to
contractors who can bring strong design, delivery, controls integration and
commissioning expertise, and demonstrate how their solution will improve
resilience, reduce operating costs, support decarbonisation, and maintain safe
hospital operations for the long term.
