Overview

Health NZ – Southern is undertaking the Southland Hospital MSB5 Ring Main Unit replacement (the Project) that will reduce the risk of major power outages, support continuity of critical health services, and improve the district’s ability to maintain and operate essential infrastructure with less disruption.
What we need

The purpose of this tender is to elicit responses from interested qualified respondents to submit a full tender for the replacement of MSB5 Ring Main Unit at Southland Hospital.

What we don’t want
To support successful delivery of the project and protect the integrity of the hospital’s electrical infrastructure, submissions of the following nature will not be considered:
•Submissions from suppliers intending to subcontract most of the electrical work.
•Submissions from tenderers without demonstrated experience in hospital-grade electrical installations or comparable critical infrastructure projects.
•Submissions that do not provide clear evidence of in-house capability to manage and deliver critical electrical works, including commissioning and compliance testing.
