Overview

Health NZ – MidCentral wishes to undertake the following three related decarbonisation projects at the Horowhenua Health Centre (HHC), in the following order:

1. upgrade/replacement of the Chiller Plant,
2. install a Hybrid Variable Refrigerant Flow (HVRF) system, and
3. install a Domestic Hot Water Heat Pump (QAHV).

MidCentral requires the services of a HVAC & Refrigeration Services Contractor to undertake all of the above works and subcontract any minor other subtrades required (the Contract Works). By undertaking all three projects, we expect the Contractor to achieve efficiencies and minimise risk.

This is a single stage, closed secondary procurement process, utilising the MidCentral Construction Trades Services Panel (panel members in the HVAC & Refrigeration Services Category, delivering services in the Horowhenua).
