Health New Zealand (HEALTH NZ) – Waitaha Canterbury is seeking an appropriately experienced construction contractor to carry earthquake repair and fit out to three separate buildings within the Burwood Hospital Campus.
• The Minor Surgery Building will require strip out of existing walls and suspended ceilings, construction of new light walls ceilings and fit out for administration office use.
• The Old Administration Building requires earthquake repair partial relevelling of foundation floor slab and fit-out for administration office use.
• The Spinal Hostel Building requires earthquake strengthening and repairs to walls and ceilings, external envelope requires repairs.

Weighted evaluation covered- Capability and Capacity 10%, Construction Methodology 15%, Health and Safety 5%, Boarder Outcomes 10% and Price 60%. it was very close, but Naylor Love South scored 58.5% to be awarded the contract.
