What is the Health Promotion Childhood Immunisation Community-led Action Fund?
The Health Promotion Childhood Immunisation Community-led Action Fund has been developed to support community organisations in targeted areas to deliver holistic, localised health promotion and community-led action that focuses on building trust and confidence with whānau to support the uptake of childhood immunisations.
Timeframe
We are looking for initiatives to be delivered in two phases. An initial period of 4 months to 30 September 2026 (Phase one), with an opportunity to extend for an additional 9 months to 30 June 2027 (Phase two), dependent on funding availability and performance.
Available funding
You will be asked to submit a budget for Phase one and Phase two of your initiative. Each phase must have a minimum budget of $30,000 (excl. GST) and the whole of life cost (June 2026 to June 2027) must be between $60,000 and $160,000 (excl. GST).
Location
The fund is split into four regional funds, each tailored to the needs of their local communities. The regional funds are:
Northern
Accepting proposals from partners who work across the Northern region, especially those who support Māori and Pacific families, and those living rurally.
Te Manawa Taki
Accepting proposals from local partners who work across the Te Manawa Taki region, especially those who support Māori and Pacific families, and those living rurally.
Te Ikaroa
Accepting proposals from partners in Hawke’s Bay, Midcentral, and Whanganui, that focus on supporting Māori whānau
Te Waipounamu
Accepting proposals from partners in Nelson Marlborough and the West Coast
You will be asked to submit a proposal to one region, which will be evaluated against other proposals within that region. Please refer to Appendix 2 for regional boundaries.
