This project is to deliver a fit for purpose, relocatable health clinic (known as Whare Hauora) at Panama Road School, Mt Wellington, Auckland. This will enable us to provide quality healthcare in a safe, child and whanau friendly environment.
The Whare Hauora purpose-built space at Panama Road School will benefit the school students, their whānau and members of the wider community, offering a dedicated space for the well-being of students, their whānau, and the community to have their health and social related needs met within a child and whānau friendly space which is close to home. This space will address not just physical health, but also mental, social and spiritual well-being, making a lasting impact upon the lives of those who use it. This purpose-built space will enable a wider range of services, for example Paediatrician, Nurse Practitioners, Hearing and Ear Health services, etc to deliver true community based health services.
