Overview

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora (Health NZ) invites suppliers to submit quotes to provide influenza vaccines for all Health NZ employees for the 2026 flu season.

Each year, our National Occupational Health Service coordinates the supply of vaccines nationally, delivered through regional and local Occupational Health vaccination services. Vaccinating our workforce is essential to preventing the spread of influenza, protecting staff wellbeing, reducing absenteeism, and ensuring continuity of healthcare delivery.

This procurement seeks an initial supply of approximately 65,000 doses of influenza vaccine, aligned with strains recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Australian Influenza Vaccine Committee (AIVC). Suppliers must be able to deliver vaccines into New Zealand by 1 March 2026.

Health NZ is seeking to appoint a supplier for an initial one-year committed purchase, with the option to renew for up to two additional 12-month terms, exercised at Health NZ’s discretion. A consortium bid may be considered; however, the consortium must clearly identify the lead provider who will be accountable for delivery and act as the counterparty to Health NZ’s contract.

This RFQ follows an open, competitive single step procurement process.
