MidCentral is inviting suitably qualified Main Contractors to submit a tender to undertake the following works at Palmerston North Hospital:
1. install a new generator flue, and
2. demolish the main vertical concrete chimney.
Suppliers should have a proven track record in delivering and managing similar contract works. It is of particular importance to us that the Main Contractor and their key subcontractors have experience and a proven track record:
• successfully delivering and managing similar contract works within a space constrained footprint,
• safely demolishing vertical concrete chimneys (or similar) while protecting the surrounding critical services and buildings within the work zone, and
• ensuring hazardous substances are suitably removed and disposed of.
The project is required to be delivered by September 2024.
Further contract/s for additional related work may also be awarded to the Successful Respondent, subject to satisfactory performance of the initial engagement.
There will be a site visit at Palmerston North Hospital at 11:00 am on Friday, 17 May 2024.
