Overview

Live Life Disability Support Service delivers community residential, vocational, respite and bespoke support services for over 200 children, young people, and adults with intellectual and / or physical disabilities. We are the only disability support service, directly provided by Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand.

The purpose of this Request for Information is to understand what is available in the market and what suppliers are active in this area. This is NOT a tender or a Request for Proposal; no contract will be awarded from this RFI.

We are seeking to understand available solutions that provide a centralised electronic information management solution for disability support service delivery to replace the current fragmented and heavily paper-reliant system. There are numerous inherent risks in the current paper-based records, many of which place the service at odds with contemporary disability support best practice.

We are specifically seeking information on solutions that support all interactions between Live Life Disability Support staff and the people they support (including the prompting of staff to take key actions, e.g.: medication, appointments, etc) in a single fully integrated solution. As we have a distributed workforce, we are seeking information on solutions that are cloud-based with security and privacy controls that meet best practice standards. The solution needs to be intuitive, easily navigated and allow uncomplicated data entry.
