Overview

Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand (Waitaha Canterbury) is seeking an appropriately experienced main contractor to undertake the construction and delivery of the Christchurch Waipapa Lower Ground Floor Workspace Fit-out.

This Registration of Interest (ROI) is an invitation to suitably qualified and experienced main contractors to register their interest in relation to this project. These registrations will be shortlisted by an evaluation panel and those shortlisted main contractors will be invited to respond to a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is anticipated that Tender documentation will be available with the Request for Proposal (RFP) which is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2024.

Te Whatu Ora advises respondents to this ROI and the subsequent RFP that Te Whatu Ora may (at its sole discretion) consider offering to the successful contractor of this project a later contract variation to construct additional works known as the ‘Tower 3 back of house storage’. In your response to this ROI, please indicate your position that should the opportunity for T3 back of house storage works be offered, whether you are willing and able to resource those works as a variation.

In issuing this ROI, Te Whatu Ora does not guarantee the additional work will be instructed, and that any decision to do so would be at Te Whatu Ora’s sole discretion.
