Te Whatu Ora - Counties Manukau is publishing this Future Procurement Opportunity to inform potential suppliers about the upcoming project to build the Specialized Rehabilitation Centre in Manukau, South Auckland. Please note that this notice is not a procurement or tender process to select or shortlist suppliers, but rather an indication of potential suppliers for the project. The anticipated release of a Registration of Interest (ROI) onto the open market is April/May 2024 and this will create a shortlist of potential respondents to receive the RFT for the main contractor.
The proposed Specialized Rehabilitation Centre at Manukau Health Park aims to bring together three existing facilities into a state-of-the-art facility for spinal, stroke, and general rehabilitation services. The facility will have a floor area of approximately 9,200 sqm, prioritizing the patient experience and well-being. It will include a 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility, consultation and therapy spaces, outpatient and ambulatory facilities, as well as integrated rehabilitation opportunities throughout the premises.
