Overview

Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand (Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley District) is looking for a food and beverage service provider to enter into a Licence to Occupy with Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand (Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley District )to set up and run a food and coffee kiosk in the Main Atrium at Wellington Regional Hospital (WRH). This provider will be required to demonstrate that they have the ability and resources to potentially expand to Level 5 Grace Neill Block (GNB) coffee kiosk, if required in the future.
It is anticipated that the service provider will provide coffee, tea and food which will mainly need to be prepared off-site.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to provide service to all staff, patients and visitors of the WRH. WRH is not only a hospital, but also gives support and space to research institutions and laboratories. WRH is also the training ground for students from University of Otago (Wellington School of Medicine) as well as students from Victoria University Graduate School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health.

The Main Atrium is located on the ground floor of the WRH and is the main entry point of all users of WRH. The Atrium (and other public spaces, circulation and waiting areas) are key to establishing the ambience as friendly rather than institutional. The Café will be a focal point in the Main Atrium and will provide food and beverages as well as provide a respite for all users.
