We are looking for technology and implementation services that enable:
• Caregivers of children and adults who lack agency to have access to the digital health information of the person they are responsible for.
• Consumers to have some control and visibility over how their information is used (within the guidelines of policy and legislation).
• Consumers to decide how their information is used outside the health sector (within the guidelines of policy and legislation).
We would like to understand what capability is available in the market that can help us with implementing services and what suppliers are active in this space.
This is a unique opportunity to help Te Whatu Ora make it easier for health care consumers to share access to their health information with the people they trust and have control and visibility over how their information is used. This will be an enterprise capability that will be used nationally. It is exciting, interesting work that has real benefits for New Zealanders.
