Te Whatu Ora Te Tai O Poutini West Coast is seeking an appropriately experienced main contractor to undertake the construction and delivery of the new West Coast Mental Health Infrastructure Project (WCMHIP), being the construction of a 6-bed inpatient mental health facility and its support spaces.

We require a contractor who can commit their own skills and resources to this project and who also has partnerships with quality and reliable subcontractors. This project is in a rural regional location 3 hours from the nearest major urban centre. This means that a main contractor needs to have the ability to mobilise itself and subcontractors to a regional area or engage with subcontractors and suppliers locally. This project will be undertaken around a functional hospital environment so demonstrating an ability to manage and plan for these constraints is of high importance.
