the digital tools used during COVID-19 for Managed Isolation and Quarantine MIQ) were developed by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) with external vendor support and operated from April 2020 until March 2022. In 2023, responsibility for Quarantine and Isolation was transferred from MBIE to Health NZ. As part of the transfer, ownership of the MIQ solution was handed over. The suppliers have been selected from The Market Place (DIA) to submit their proposal to transfer from the MIQ to the National Quarantine Capability (NQC) - Health NZ
