The Department of Conservation is seeking to appoint a contractor to remove redundant ski field infrastructure (unused towers, old concrete foundations, and other associated infrastructure) at the Whakapapa and Tūroa ski areas at Mount Ruapehu. Remediation works related to the removal of this redundant/obsolete infrastructure will also be required.

This notice has been posted to GETS as a Future Procurement Opportunity (FPO) for the Ruapehu Remediation works. FPO’s are to advise the supplier market of potential tender opportunities which may or may not be progressed. Any further information about this opportunity will be available on GETS if/when we go to market.

The Department will not be taking questions on this project at this time.
