Overview

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation to suitably qualified ECI Contractors (participants) to submit a Proposal for the Ruapehu Redundant Infrastructure Removal Works ECI – Whakapapa ski field.

This procurement seeks to appoint a participant to work with DOC and Iwi who understands and considers the environmental aspects and weaves it throughout their approach to the design of the demolition and remediation programme.
The participant should consider how the potential works may cause a negative impact to the site and how these are mitigated and or controlled to ensure we do not create more negative impact to the site by undertaking these works.
The participant is expected to deliver the following at the conclusion of the ECI stage:
• confirm the current scope of works is accurate;
• create a detailed plan for the works;
• create a complete methodology for demolition and remediation against the scope;
• create a programme for the works;
• create a complete set of tenderable documentation; and
• submit a pricing proposal for completing the works.
